One of the nation's leading hospitals in Boston is looking to add a Application Support Specialist to its growing research team. As an Application Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for aiding clinical researchers with their cutting-edge work. You will be using Python and R to pull and analyze bioinformatic data, assisting researchers in solving complex medical issues. You will also be working with application engineers to roadmap and design new features, create documentation, and identify user pain points.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of utilizing Python or R for data analysis or visualization
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and software dev teams
  • Domain or academic knowledge of Biology, Bioinformatics, Genomics or related field of study

Pluses:

  • MS in Biology or related field of study
  • Experience in internships or TA positions utilizing Python or R
  • Mission oriented mindset
