One of my best clients is hiring for a junior to mid-level Bioinformatician who will be working on a number of international initiatives with organizations like Carnegie Melon, UPenn, Northwestern, Stanford and Vanderbilt. So far the consortium has published 140 research papers and are on a mission to map the human body at single cell resolution.

Must Have Skills 

  • Background in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biomedical Informatics, Molecular Biology or related.
  • Python or R skills for data wrangling and analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills

  • Product management skills
  • Experience with REST APIs, Graph Databases, Elasticsearch, version control
