The largest dairy breed organization in the world, with over 22 million cattle is looking to hire a Full-Stack Developer to join their growing team. Since being founded in 1903, this organization holds all records for ancestry, identity, ownership, and performance information on all their livestock, and uses this data to make fundamental decisions for the betterment of the dairy industry. This key hire will primarily develop, maintain, and deploy the companies software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Postgres, React, Docker, and Kubernetes. This is a great chance to not only harden and maintain their existing Java infrastructure but also implement new and highly-scalable services for their next-generation platform.

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience using Java or J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services
  • Strong experience with React.JS, or other JavaScript Frameworks
  • Experience with Relational Database Systems (Postgres, Informix)  

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience utilizing Linux platforms (RHEL/Atomic)
  • Experience working with Containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience modernizing legacy Java infrastructure, implementing modern frameworks
