Principal / Senior Software Engineer

A rapidly growing Cyber Security company located just outside of Boston, MA is hiring for Senior and Principal Software Engineers to join their growing team. With the option to work fully remote or onsite, these are key hires that will help build out the backbone of their award-winning cybersecurity platform, which is an AI-driven, in-depth threat detection software that detects and eliminates threats in real-time. They use primarily Java and Scala alongside Spark, but they’ve hired tech agnostic engineers in the past!

Must Haves:

  • 5+ of experience programming with Java or Scala to develop or consume RESTful APIs
  • Exposure to a Microservice serverless architecture
  • Experience with Spark for large-scale data processing

Pluses:

  • Past use of Docker for containerization
  • Experience using K8s/Kubernetes for clustering
  • Experience in or knowledge of Cybersecurity, AI, or Machine learning
  • Expert knowledge of Java or Scala and OOP principles
